Dateline: Los Angeles

I arrived in Los Angeles on June 1 but wasn’t able to go around until days later. My uncle whisked me away to San Diego, that’s why.

Los Angeles is home to the University of Southern California and its Annenberg School of Communication where the Beyond Broadcast 2009 conference was held from June 3 to 5. I spoke at the opening plenary session, sharing the Philippine experience on mobile activism.

USC Annenberg is a cool place where many things were happening at any one time during Beyond Broadcast 2009. The whole USC campus is blanketed by free WIFI.
